How Dopest Deals works
Dopest Deals started as a Discord community sharing good finds on anything worth buying. The site automates the boring part, finding and verifying deals, and keeps the honest part.
We import offers
Offers come from retailer APIs and affiliate feeds we're permitted to use. Nothing is scraped.
We check the comparison price
A percentage off a list price doesn't qualify on its own. We label whether the comparison is a list price, the retailer's previous price, or a price we observed ourselves.
We score it
A deal score reflects how much you save and how strong the evidence is. A separate confidence score reflects how much we trust the data.
We publish what passes
Deals that meet the savings, evidence and availability rules go live. Borderline ones wait for a human.
We recheck and expire
Published deals are rechecked on a schedule. When a price rises or stock runs out, the deal is marked expired here and in Discord.
We don't fake it
No countdown timers, no invented 'X people are viewing', no 'lowest price ever' unless our own records support it.
