What we collect

Outbound clicks. When you click a deal button we record which deal, which retailer, where on the site you clicked, the page you came from, and a one-day hash of your address and browser. We use this to see which deals and channels people find useful. The hash can't be turned back into your address.

Saved deals are stored only in your browser. They never reach our servers.

Email is collected only if you sign up for the digest, and used only to send it. Every email includes a way to unsubscribe.

Reports and submissions store what you typed plus the same one-day hash, so we can limit abuse.

Server logs keep standard request information for a short time for security and debugging.

Cookies

The public site sets no tracking cookies. The admin area uses a single sign-in cookie for staff.

Retailers and affiliate networks

When you follow a deal link you leave Dopest Deals and the retailer's own privacy policy applies. Affiliate networks may set cookies on the retailer's site to attribute purchases. We receive aggregate commission reports, not your identity or what you bought.

Sharing

We don't sell or share personal data. Service providers that host the site or send email process data only on our instructions.

Your choices

You can unsubscribe from email at any time, clear saved deals from your browser, and ask us to delete any email address or submission you sent us.
